Ramen Do

First time at Ramen Do and I've ordered the Hokkaido Miso Ramen, I must say it is pretty impressive.  The ramen has an almost 'al dente' kind of texture, it was chewy with a very nice bite.  The broth was rather light and clean compared to other ramen places in Auckland, the miso flavour was not overpowering which is very nice.  However, I do prefer a more silky kind of texture when it comes to miso based ramen.  The hanjuku egg was splendidly done, it was marinated and cooked to perfection.  They have an interesting assortment of veggies including bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, cabbage, boy choy, carrots, spinach and black fungus which made me thought, where the hell was my cha-shu?

All in all, I was very happy with my meal (even though I didn't get my cha-shu).  I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.
